Handicraft market 2024
Handmade, regional, made with love
Whether crocheted or sawn, made of pottery or planted: On September 22nd, visitors can browse through handmade items, regional treasures and sustainable products at the BEAR SANCTUARY Müritz sustainability market.
The handicraft market at the BEAR SANCTUARY Müritz opens its doors from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The market starts with a new record: More than 40 exhibitors have registered, and they are offering what their hands have created: ceramics and knitted items, liqueurs and hand-felted items, fruits of the garden and jams, crocheted items, jewelry, regional honey and sweets, plant decorations and decorations made of concrete, hand-carved items and much more.
Sustainability is a top priority at the BEAR SANCTUARY Müritz - be it in the energy and heat supply via solar systems and heat pumps or in the "Bäristro", Greentable-certified for sustainable business in the catering industry. It is therefore obvious that the sanctuary should also provide a platform for products that people from the region have made themselves. Producing and buying locally is sustainable. At the same time, the market offers a meeting place to exchange ideas with like-minded people. Entry to the handicraft market is free as usual. All children up to the age of 14 also have free entry to the BÄRENWALD Müritz itself on September 22nd if they have their teddy bear with them.
We look forward to all participants who are taking part this year.
